Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Promofy handles personal data within the Promofy Partners Club.
What we collect
- Application details you submit: name, work email, phone, company, role, location, links, expertise, industries and your motivation text.
- Account data once you register: email address, authentication credentials handled by our authentication provider, and your role in the program.
- Program activity: registered opportunities, certification progress and assessment results, agreement acceptances, and commission records.
Why we use it
- To review partner applications and operate the Promofy Partners Club.
- To track deal registration, protect registered opportunities and calculate commissions.
- To issue and verify Promofy Certified Partner status.
- To contact you about your application, your account and program updates.
How it is protected
- Data is stored in a managed Postgres database with row-level security so partners can only read and write their own records.
- Administrative access is restricted to a separate admin role and is checked on the server, not in the browser.
- Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored hashed by the authentication provider and checked against known-breached password lists.
Sharing
- We do not sell partner data. Data is shared only with the infrastructure providers required to run this platform (hosting, database and authentication), and where we are legally required to disclose it.
Retention
- Application records are retained for the life of the program relationship. Rejected applications are retained so we can recognise re-applications, and can be deleted on request.
- Commission and opportunity records are retained as long as required for financial record-keeping.
Your choices
- You can review and update your partner profile at any time from the Partners Club.
- You control whether your profile appears in the partner directory via the directory opt-in setting.
- To request access, correction or deletion of your data, contact the partner team at partners@promofy.ai.
